Job Description:

White Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the team in Carlsbad. We're looking for a motivated self-starter with commercial construction experience to work closely with our Project Managers. Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage subcontractor proposals, contracts, change orders and any documentation required in administering construction contracts
  • Create and track job submittals, RFI's, change orders and purchase orders
  • Prepare project close out packages, including completion certificates
  • Compile and maintain project files and ensure the files are complete
  • Proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions
  • Order and track lead times for project materials, and expedite if necessary
  • Work with superintendent to ensure OSHA compliance and that work is being completed according to plans
  • Assist Project Manager with project plan as needed, including meeting notes and documentation

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Coordinator working for a Commercial General Contractor
  • Must have worked on Tenant Improvements (Offices, Medical, Restaurants)
  • Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with numerous personalities on a day-to-day basis
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Proficient in: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, skills to include: Excel, Word, Outlook), Acrobat Standard or above (ability to create, edit, comment, etc.), Procore, Sage 100 Contractor and Bluebeam
