The role involves supporting the scheduling and logistics analysis for the movement of NGLs (Natural Gas Liquids) from various sources to terminals, ensuring timely, dependable, and cost-effective delivery to meet wholesale sales demand.
Key responsibilities include: supporting rail and pipeline product schedulers to avoid product outages and meet inventory goals (30%); assisting rail analysts in managing contract receipts and deliveries for economic benefit and maintaining favorable exchange partner relationships (30%); updating demand forecasts, system entries, and ensuring timely invoice payments (20%); aiding in position management and inventory control to support effective decision-making (10%); and understanding the daily position reporting process to provide backup coverage (10%). Decision-making focuses on meeting sales demand with minimal inventory, maximizing margins, achieving target inventories, and securing profitable supply options.
