Contract Project Manager

Location: North MA

Role Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage complex projects, particularly those related to M&A integrations and business transformation initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless execution, alignment with strategic objectives, and delivery of measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end project management for M&A integrations, including due diligence, planning, execution, and post-merger optimization.
  • Drive change and transformation initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals and deliver desired outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across all levels, including executive leadership, to understand requirements and align deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively while addressing project challenges effectively.
  • Ensure smooth communication and collaboration across teams, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Track and report on project progress, performance metrics, and key outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager leading M&A and/or post-merger integration projects.
  • Demonstrated success in managing change and transformation projects across multiple business units.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, organizational change, and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master.
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., finance, technology, healthcare) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
  • Familiarity with organizational design and process improvement frameworks.
