QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at AccuLynx, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products that empower thousands of contractors daily. You'll work closely with development teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test automation solutions. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality software that meets the evolving needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using .NET/C#, NUnit, and Selenium.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous delivery.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and product managers to identify test requirements and automation opportunities.
  • Manual Testing (as needed): Perform manual testing as needed, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Issue Identification & Resolution: Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
  • Personal Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on test automation.
  • Strong proficiency in an object oriented programming language like C# or Java.
  • Experienced with automation frameworks like NUnit and Selenium.
  • Experience with both front-end UI automation and back-end API testing.
  • Familiarity with data-driven testing techniques.
  • Basic competence in writing database queries (SQL).
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • A passion for quality and a dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences.

Bonus Point If You Have:
  • Experience with both gRPC and RESTful web services.
  • Proficiency in our specific technology stack: C#, Selenium, Javascript, GitLab.
  • Experience with cloud-native tools and testing techniques (e.g. Postman, Kreya, SauceLabs, GitLab CI/CD, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservice & API testing).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
