USIM is a dynamic and innovative media agency specializing in delivering cutting-edge marketing and advertising solutions across multiple channels. We work with a diverse range of clients, from emerging startups to established brands, helping them amplify their presence, grow their audiences, and achieve their marketing objectives. We are looking for an experienced and strategic VP of Marketing to lead our internal marketing efforts, elevate our agency's brand, and drive growth through data-driven marketing strategies.

Position Overview:

The VP of Marketing will play a critical role in shaping and executing the agency's marketing strategy. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of brand positioning, digital marketing, content creation, and market research. The will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, managing the marketing team, and ensuring that all efforts align with the agency's overall goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be a visionary, innovative thinker with a strong background in marketing leadership and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, agency environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to strengthen the agency's brand and position in the market.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, content marketing, events, and PR efforts.
  • Drive market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set measurable goals and KPIs, tracking performance to ensure marketing efforts deliver a solid return on investment (ROI).

2. Team Management & Development
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and results-oriented performance.
  • Oversee the development of the team's skills, offering guidance, professional development opportunities, and feedback to support career growth.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources and effective prioritization of projects across the marketing team.

3. Brand Management
  • Lead the development of the agency's brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Craft compelling narratives and marketing materials that showcase the agency's services, case studies, and client success stories.
  • Champion brand consistency across all communications, both internally and externally, maintaining a strong and coherent agency image.

4. Digital Marketing & Growth
  • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing strategies across owned, earned, and paid media channels, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and paid advertising.
  • Implement innovative tactics to drive lead generation, increase brand awareness, and engage new and existing audiences.
  • Utilize analytics and marketing automation tools to optimize campaigns, track performance, and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.

5. Client & Partner Relations
  • Collaborate with clients and other departments (creative, strategy, media) to align on messaging and ensure marketing campaigns meet their needs.
  • Serve as the marketing thought leader within the agency, offering insights and recommendations to clients and partners.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and agencies, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and are on time.

6. Budget & Resource Management
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve key marketing objectives.
  • Ensure cost-effective marketing practices while maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.
  • Track expenditures, forecast future needs, and report on budget performance.

7. Reporting & Analytics
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies and tactics for future campaigns.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, ideally within a media agency or creative services environment.
  • Skills & Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Expertise in data analysis and performance tracking tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive innovation in marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM systems, and media buying is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating persuasive and engaging content.
