Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Security Analyst position located in Maitland, FL. This position is a direct hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site.
Summary
The selected Security Analyst will monitor essential security dashboards, and identify/respond to security incidents.
Job Description:
Continuous monitoring, analysis and reporting of security alerts and events received from our security tools.
Analyzes a variety of network and host-based security technology logs to determine the correct remediation.
Monitor the effectiveness of current security systems and make suggestions for improvement when necessary.
Works with various departments to understand the impact on other systems.
Develop the policies, methods, and standards for determining on-premises and cloud information security.
Conduct testing to uncover vulnerabilities and risks.
Analyze breaches to uncover root causes.
Provide recommendations to the executive management team on improving I.T. security.
Job Requirements
Over 7 years of experience in progressive IT infrastructure and security experience.
Experience with implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and tuning security tools to include (but not limited to) Intrusion Detection and Prevention Services, Security Information and Event Management, Malware Prevention, Email Security, Privilege Access Tools, etc.
Experience with Windows Defender for Endpoint
Experience with computer networking and firewalls.
Experience with Windows Active Directory and group policies.
In-depth, hands-on experience with security recommendations around vulnerabilities, patching, risks, virtual infrastructure and Azure.
Familiarity with Microsoft Intune.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to work across organizational boundaries.
Exceptional collaboration skills that will assist in both internal and external relationship building.
Public speaking and presentation experience desirable.
B.S in a technical discipline or equivalent number of years work experience.
Information security management qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)/ Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred.
