Turner & Bowerman, LLC is looking to add an energetic and detail-oriented office manager to our team! We have an office in Atlanta and serve personal injury, criminal law, and family law clients. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with our clients and our professional reputation in the metro Atlanta area.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-starter who will ensure smooth operation of the Atlanta office. This individual will communicate frequently with attorneys, staff, and clients. Organization and attention to detail are a must. All candidates must be willing and able to participate in one to three days of paid working interviews in which they will get a general orientation to the office, learn basic tasks, and begin to work under the guidance of existing paralegals. All candidates must also provide three references if they are chosen to participate in working interviews.

We are a Mac-only office, so candidates with no Mac experience need not apply.

Responsibilities:
• Basic office upkeep tasks including, but not limited to, monitoring office supplies, emptying waste baskets, keeping common areas tidy, coordinating various service providers who may be needed at the office
• Basic administrative tasks including, but not limited to, filing, drafting basic letters, meeting with clients for document signings, scanning, and managing incoming and outgoing mail
• Working closely with our personal injury attorney: duties will include setting up new personal injury files, ordering and organizing medical bills and records, and tracking client expenses
• All candidates must be very comfortable communicating with clients, healthcare providers, insurance adjusters, and court staff, both on the phone and in writing
• All candidates must be comfortable with maintaining an ongoing and detailed task log to maintain an updated record of completed tasks
• All candidates must be comfortable with and receptive to extensive editing of any outgoing work
• Upon hiring, you will be provided with a detailed employee handbook to assist in the training process and to reference as you grow into your new position with the firm.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred, or equivalent on the job experience with a prior law firm.
• Experience in legal assistance preferred, but not required
• Experience in personal injury preferred, but not required

Specific Skills:
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Candidates must be very comfortable with Apple products and be ready to use a Mac from the first day. Candidates with PC experience only need not apply.
• Stamps.com - if you do not have Stamps.com experience, training will be provided
• Reception and greeting clients
• Client intake and client relations
• Management of accounts payable
• Inventory management
• Filing

Compensation:
• Pay will start at $25.00 per hour.
• Health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and disability insurance will be offered after initial probation period.
• Turner & Bowerman employees receive two weeks of paid time off in addition to extended holiday time off.
• This is an in-office position. Work from home days may be offered at a future date, but should not be expected.
