The client provides essential transportation services, including multi-mode operations, integrated command centers, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, technology, analytics and business intelligence, maintenance, cleaning, and rider experience measurement.
The Role
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the Fleet Coordinator will lead the repair and maintenance activities for a fleet of over 2,300 vehicles across the US and Canada. This individual will collaborate closely with field management, suppliers, external repair shops, and the internal fleet team to proactively lead cost-effective fleet maintenance activities, ensuring fleet safety, availability, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and communicate with suppliers to ensure proper purchase order procedures are followed, ensuring pricing is cost-effective and competitive, and work is completed in a timely manner.
Maintain fleet-related content (repairs, maintenance, vendor agreements) in the maintenance database.
Communicate with field operations and drivers regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and fleet-related matters as needed.
Upfit vehicles and apply decals and branding per company standards.
Highlight unusual pricing or supplier behaviors to leadership, ensuring the finance and safety of the fleet meets cost-effective guidelines.
Take hands-on ownership and follow-through for fleet-related activities, including but not limited to upfitting vehicles, maintaining inventory of vehicle supplies, and managing radios and dashcams.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and completed.

Strong productivity software skills, specifically with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Experience with fleet management software, fleet and inventory accuracy.

Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years in automotive/mechanical-related experience and training.
ASE Certification is a plus.
