Job Description
Leadership:
Coordinates the creation, testing, and implementation of network resources and services for North Mississippi Health Services Supervises:
Plan, direct, and manage the daily activities of the Senior Communication Tech, Communication Techs, Communication Specialist, Network Specialist, and Network Analysts
Evaluates, coaches, and provides corrective actions (if necessary) to employees within scope of responsibility
Conducts annual performance review and provides feedback Applications:
Assists Director/CTO in the planning /development of new systems for users of LAN, WAN, and Data Center Networks Customer Service:
Provides effective and efficient support to customers as needed Project Development:
Plans, develops, coordinates and monitors all network and voice related projects Communication:
Efficiently provide advice and assistance regarding the capabilities of Wired and Wireless Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Voice/Video Communications Budget:
Assists in preparing, submitting, implementing, and controlling deviations to the departmental budget Reporting:
Prepares and presents reports/data as required Education:
Stays abreast of current technological developments in network technology
Provides network and system training for new personnel Regulation:
Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues Job Knowledge:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems and/or related experience; required
Minimum of 10 years experience with broad and deep technical knowledge related to LAN, WAN, and SAN technologies, network security, voice, video, and support services; required
Minimum of 5 years management experience, preferably in healthcare; required
Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; required
Excellent interpersonal skills; required
