This is considered an entry-level Inspector position. Must be able to work with foremen, supervisors, and administrative staff to manage the implementation and/or continuance of safe work practices, operations, and overall function of the facility. Work requires professional written and verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual abilities in Spanish preferred.
Ability to recognize weld defects, areas of improvement, and other weaknesses in all products. Ability to participate in and give input in group meetings. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule. Above all must be a team player with high level of dedication.
Some, but not all of the primary work duties are as follows:
Assures the quality of all materials, structures, components of all types of pressure vessels and tanks, is maintained throughout the production process.
Verifies that all vessels, tanks, and other product lines comply with all relevant quality standards and regulations (i.e. ASME and API, etc).
Verifies materials, parts and final products through independent checks and inspections.
Assists in defining a QA/QC program that meets the full scope of all regulatory requirements.
Maintains and documents all Quality Control inspections and findings on travelers and QC Inspection sheets.
