Role Description
This is a part time role for a Plant Manager at Trilogene Seeds. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing plant operations to maintain operational efficiency at our genetic development HQ. The role is primarily located in Carbondale, IL and there is a lot of room for growth & expansion within the organization
Cultivation, Production & Operations Execution Services
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the cultivation and seed production facility, including the supervision of any workers;
Developing and implementing policies and procedures for cultivation, processing, and production;
Monitoring and maintaining a high quality and consistency of cannabis products produced by the facility;
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to the production and distribution of cannabis products;
Protecting the Company's sensitive intellectual property related to the cultivation and genetics of cannabis plants; and
Characterizing each cultivar and filling out Company's trial data sheets
Operational management of Company's grow facilities located in Dunn Richmond Center only
Video and photo content regularly per Company's instructions
Feminized and regular seed production
Cloning
IPM
Cleaning necessary areas in the lab, tents, and canopy
Mother plant management
Collaboration with different Company members and 3rd party collaborators
Research & development
Cultivation facility management
Communication
Phenotype selection
Intellectual property development
Flower trials
Tissue culture
Genetic banking for preservation
Induction of roots, shoots, etc
Improving SOP and protocols
Transformations
Other tasks designated by CEO & CSO
Lab assistance when applicable to SOW
SOP refinement and creation
Performing any other duties as requested by the Company at Dunn Richmond Center
