Documents program completion every day and narrative progress notes as required by community policies.
Reports concerns regarding neighbor care to charge nurse
Reports malfunctioning or improperly fitting equipment and equipment needs to therapy and Restorative Manager.
Places preventative/pressure relief mattress and wheelchair cushions as directed by Restorative Manager.
Offers suggestions and provides input into development in interdisciplinary plan of care.
Participates in the Quality Improvement Program as directed by the Restorative Manager, and reports areas needing improvement.
Keeps skills current and enhances present skills by attendance to in-services and seminars.
In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include other responsibilities and duties as assigned on occasion, based upon Eben Ezer needs or requirements.

Education and Experience:
Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Colorado.
Minimum 2 years of clinical, bedside CNA experience and evidence of positive evaluations.
Knowledge and skills in basic restorative nursing principles and practices
Non-Essential Job Functions:
May participate in Eben Ezer committees.
Will attend community and department meetings as directed.

Material and Equipment used but not limited to:
General office equipment such as fax machine, copier, and computer.
Therapy equipment including Nu-Step, Parallel bars, Hydrocolator packs.
Facility lifts, gait belts, blood pressure cuff, and other related vital sign equipment.
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
Busy clinical environment that includes people actively moving in and out of immediate area.
Frequent noise from phone, sounds of resident and staff activities in gym in addition to other common areas.
Throughout the course of the work day, employee will frequently walk, sit, stand, bend to perform restorative duties.
Must be able to push/pull up to 250 pounds regularly using a wheelchair. Must be able to lift 0-50 pounds regularly by self and 50+ pounds occasionally with assistance.
Working Hours:
*Temporary Position* Hours are as directed by the Assistant Director of Nursing, up to 12 hours/week unless additional coverage is needed.
Working Location:
This is not a remote position and work must be performed in-person.
