Job Description:

DH Pace Company Inc., is searching for a Regional Materials Manager to join the team in our Charlotte, NC office! This position will have oversight of material management programs for the Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes the negotiation of material costs, freight costs, and all aspects of inventory control.

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and support the materials program for your assigned region.
• Manage and analyze inventory through the entire procurement lifecycle including cycle counts and audits for the region.
• Oversee parts, shop, and warehouse operations within the markets, maintaining stock levels, overall efficiencies and providing feedback to improve the operational process.
• Actively lead contract negotiations and foster vendor relations to ensure company has a competitive advantage when buying based on market research.
• Manage vendor’s performance, product quality, delivery, and cost.
• Recognize key vendor partners and initiate relationships and buying programs that will assure long term vendor partnerships.
• Ensure staff carries out daily tasks in their respective areas with utilization of the company’s best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Job Requirements:
• Must be able to travel up to 60% within the Mid-Atlantic Region (North Carolina and South Carolina).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of purchasing, inventory, and general warehouse experience.
• Must have experience managing supervisors/managers.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all personnel.
• High sense of urgency with exceptional management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
