About the Role: As a System Integration and Verification Engineer at our client, you will be an integral part of a dynamic technical team responsible for designing, coding, integrating, testing, and deploying complex systems. Your role will encompass a wide range of activities, from test planning and writing test objectives to performing integration, verification, and validation tasks. You will work on diverse software integration projects, including satellite command and control software, satellite payload sensor management software, mission-specific software, and ground hardware & network control software.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, objectives, scenarios, and procedures.
Perform integration, verification, and validation activities.
Collaborate with software and integration engineers to design, code, integrate, test, and deploy systems.
Contribute to detailed design, coding new content, and bug fixes.
Participate in unit testing and automate unit testing where possible.
Contribute to integration testing as needed.
Work with automated test tools, including Selenium and Sikuli.
Contribute to the Integration & Verification (I&V) Life Cycle.
Utilize DOORs and/or CAMEO for requirements management.
Develop software using C++ with a basic understanding of Boost and Qt.
Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins and work in a DevOps environment.
Write and deliver software requirements for complex systems.
Operate in a Linux environment.
Apply experience as an operator.
Leverage experience or exposure to OPIR programs.
Utilize scripting skills, including DXL.
Generate code for and execute automated testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in system integration and verification.
Proficiency in C++, Boost, and Qt.
Experience with automated test tools such as Selenium and Sikuli.
Familiarity with DOORs and/or CAMEO.
Knowledge of SNMP.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and working in a DevOps environment.
Strong scripting skills, including DXL.
Experience working in a Linux environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field.
Experience with satellite command and control software, satellite payload sensor management software, mission-specific software, or ground hardware & network control software.
Experience with OPIR programs.
