Job Summary

Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a QA Technician Sr within our Northpoint Services (NPS) Ethylene Oxide sterilization facility located in Waukegan, IL. The QA Tech will be responsible for product releases according to approved sterilization processes, various sterilization validation activities and communicating with customers all in a highly regulated environment. We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking professional with a solid background in quality and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. Also you must have a roll-up your sleeves attitude.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Compliance with environmental & Quality Systems procedures in your assigned work areas.

Compliance with safety procedures at all times including in areas where hazardous chemicals may be encountered.

Detailed inspections of sterilization records and all related documentation for completeness, accuracy, and to ensure they meet validated parameters prior to releasing product for distribution.

Assist in product load set up and retrieval of samples for a variety of sterilization validation activities. These at times will be conducted in hot/humid environments and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Full face respirator protection with supplied air tanks will be required at times as well.

Set up and downloading of process sensors including review of generated temperature and humidity data from validation activities.

Verification and transmittal of various biological and product samples for customers’ routine sterilization loads.

Maintain compliance with QSR and ISO regulations and Medline policies and procedures at all times.

Misc documentation review, filing, scanning, and archiving will be required daily. Maintain work area cleanliness and organization in your assigned work areas. Special projects as assigned by your manager or director.

Qualifications;

High School Diploma or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.

Ability to understand complex products with multiple levels of failure modes and evaluate all details of a reported issue to determine clear and concise conclusions.

Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers including meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
