Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our North America Product Stewardship & Sustainability team. Arcadis has offices throughout the United States and Canada and the location for this position is flexible. This full-time position will support product compliance, regulatory compliance, auditing, management systems, and product sustainability projects.

Role accountabilities:


  • Evaluating product regulatory compliance, including environmental and transportation regulations.
  • Conducting risk assessments for chemical and automotive industry standards.
  • Managing small projects and communicating compliance findings to stakeholders.
  • Supporting the creation of safety data sheets and product labels.
  • Creating presentations and supporting the design and implementation of effective training programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product stewardship or chemical/materials regulatory compliance.
  • BS in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of U.S. compliance regulations (TSCA, FIFRA, FHSA, California Proposition 65) and automotive industry standards.
  • Experience with hazard classifications (UN GHS, US OSHA).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $$82400 - $123600. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
