Arthrex is actively seeking a Manager Field Logistics Services who will p rovide leadership, guidance, and support to the Field Logistics Services department and related operations to US agencies and International Operations. Responsibilities include inbound and outbound agency customer service, agency inventory control, agency order fulfillment, agency transitions, and escalation requests. Lead efforts to manage agency processing to drive compliance and inventory control. Manage agency shipments, support product launches and rollouts, upgrades, and consignment returns. Manage the restriction of product distribution associated with supply disruptions and monitor and manage field expectations relating to logistics processing. The person in this role will spearhead quality assurance initiatives with agencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage staff of supervisors and representatives involved in working with agency office personnel on all consignment products ordered and returned.
Assist and guide the FLS department supervisor, trainer and team members to coach, mentor, and train new hires.
Provide high-level communication/information to Agency Owners, Territory Operations Managers, Regional Managers, and Agency Office personnel.
Assist Manager of Field Audits with the review and processing of Agency Annual Physical Inventory results of the Arthrex agencies throughout the US and Canada.
Collaborate with the Director of Field Operations, Field Operations Support and Territory Operations Management to identify and drive strategic inventory optimization processes at the agency level and assist with communications to Agencies to maximize field inventory logistics, field utilization, and agency product availability, as well as ensuring FIFO/FEFO are practiced.
Responsible for monitoring and implementing order management system process improvements to create efficiencies.
Continuous improvement of department policies and procedures in support of Field Operations goals and objectives.
Support and ensure all Agencies are following Arthrex corporate requirements concerning products, reinforcing Arthrex Quality Management standards are being followed.
Initiate collaboration of the Field Logistics Services, Field Audits, Finance, Returns Team, and Field Operations team to conduct agency transition processes and procedures and confirm the entire process is carried out and completed.
Coordinate with Product Management concerning new product launches.
Oversee agency returns processing for consignment inventory, transitions, special projects, damage, and consigned instrument sets.
Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure transactional procedures are compliant and provide assistance with internal and external audits.
Conduct agency onsite training to promote best practices as it relates to all Field Logistics Services processes.
Develops and manages the department's personnel needs including performance reviews and disciplinary actions when required.
Manage teammates through coaching and mentorship, such as guiding team members on appropriate usage of available analytics platforms and data management to ensure optimal delivery and long-term sustainability of the solution.
At the senior level: Seek to automate and improve repetitive data-related tasks where possible, including providing systems and analytical support as well as developing tools to collect and analyze data for increased analytics.
Oversee extensive testing and defect analysis of analytical solutions and new rollouts. Examples include SAP system changes and Redspot integrations to enhance the business user's functionality.
Lead Customer Service initiatives relating to business acquisitions. Develop best practices and procedures to migrate legacy business processes into Arthrex standard operating procedures.
Lead brainstorming sessions on design and development efforts for high-level projects.
Document data models and analytical solutions for business continuity purposes.
Collaborate with other internal departments and external consultants on projects.
When necessary, is available outside normal business hours, including weekends, for critical issues and special projects. (shared responsibilities with the team)
Keeps current and continuously evaluates the latest tools offering releases within the platforms used at Arthrex, but also seeking outside other business tools that could benefit Arthrex.
Develop and create and analyze data tables from SAP.
Utilize Power BI tools for report generation, consolidation, and presentation.
Travel up to 25% may be required for special projects, agency onsite visits, and summit presentations.
Ensure compliance within functional area and support the compliance objective of the organization as a whole.
Education/ Experience:
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years experience in a role related to Inventory Management, Logistics, Customer Service, or Supply Chain.
3+ years of Customer Service experience in a supervisory or people management role required.
Experience or training in effective customer service techniques and methods for resolving problems and customer complaints.

Working knowledge of large ERP systems, SAP preferred.
Ability to analyze trends and make available forecasting and other analytics to provide recommendations to the upper-management team.
Able to analyze agencies in noncompliance and present findings to Territory Operations Management to prevent further potential of risk.
Strong ERP system or SAP knowledge to help understand and troubleshoot issues.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
Resolves or escalates issues to Director, Field Operations, or HR as appropriate.
Knowledge:
Complete understanding of industry practices, techniques, and standards. Complete understanding and application of agency account billing policies and procedures. Complete knowledge of Field Logistics Services relating to inventory management. Responsible for the development of new Field Logistics Services policies and procedures relating to inventory management. Basic knowledge of medical terms relating to the products handled.
