Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring stakeholders needs are met through effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule meetings; take meeting minutes
- Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Document functional and technical requirements and coordinate with vendors and technical experts to identify solution alternatives. Provide supporting documentation to enable an analysis of alternatives.
- Provide analysis and support for all phases of the project lifecycle including data for status reports and executive briefings.
- Provide technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development/solution delivery tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
- Coordinate with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure delivery of quality solutions and client satisfaction.
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; investigate system capabilities; document business processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience collaborating with management and end-users to solicit, understand, and document user and system requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in performance requirements management.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environment.
- Skilled at creating flow or process diagrams with tools like Visio or Lucidchart
- This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience documenting business and system requirements, writing test plans and traceability matrices, supporting solution discovery, testing, and implementations.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 platform and tools including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience using Monday.com as a project management tool
- Strong customer service skills.
Basic Compensation: $100,000.00 - $113,000.00 yearly salary
The salary offered within this range will be based on the selected candidates skills, experience, education, market data, and internal parity. DLH may offer other rewards that may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. An applicants salary history will not be used to determine compensation.
