RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer management:
Know and analyze the specific customer requirements, processes and products understanding how much our failure modes can impact the customer lines and final products.
Track customer indicators, generate corrective action plans with the plant teammates when needed.
Monitor and advise the plants so that we have OEM inspection implemented, understood, and practiced.
Ensure that all past problems are converted into lessons learned knowledge for engineering, process, tooling, production, and quality plant manager teams.
COPQ management:
Leading monthly meetings with plant managers for discussion and follow up of COPQ reduction action plans.
Review and provide feedback to all COPQ lessons learned and submitted, acknowledging when they meet all the requirements and teaching them how to achieve it when they do not.
WPS and Standardization:
Keep constant training in WEPS for all quality employees.
In case of common problems between plants, ensure that the solution found in one will also be systemically applied systemically and establish a feedback loop to ensure standards are met.
Guarantee the monthly analysis and periodically audit locally the assessments sent by the plants.
Supplier Management:
Assist suppliers with problem solving techniques by reducing the amount of NC products that arrive to plants.
Assist and train the plants in problem solving with the supplier.
Quality system management:
Together with Corporate Quality, ensure that plants are meeting legislative and regulatory requirements (TS, ISO, etc ...)
Responsible to ensure implementation of quality system in new plants.
Schedule internal audits.
Accompany external audits.
Generate local and / or global alerts whenever necessary.
Keep managers informed about system changes and review of standards and specification.
Ensure that quality LAUNCH activities are being fulfilled such as with; DVPR, PPAP, Process Flow, Vendor
People management and development:
Provide training in quality tools for plants.
Hold monthly update meetings with those responsible for plant quality
Promote semiannual events among quality analysts and laboratory technicians to discuss best practices and align discipline information.

Experience:
Quality or equivalent - 8 years

Project management
WPS and lean manufacturing knowledge
Intermediate English - written and oral
MS Project
Good skills with office tools
Availability for international travel
Good communication skills with internal and external customer
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Leadership skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to share and transfer knowledge and skills to / with others.
Dependable and self-motivated individual with good attendance / disciplinary and safety record who can work effectively with minimal supervision.
Detail orientated individual with excellent thinking and trouble-shooting skills; able to make decisions based on information and analysis.
Some math and computer skills are essential to perform job duties. Concrete variables in standardized situation.
