Hourly Rate: $20.50 an hour + $1.50 shift differential
The Sanitation Technician performs sanitation tasks to clean and sanitize all production equipment and processing areas. You will work safely using processes that meet food and safety requirements and sanitation goals and standards. You will report to the Quality Manager. You will work onsite at the North Mankato Plant.
JOB Responsibilities (INCLUDING):
Perform job with utmost Caution and Safety.
Participate in plant wide continuous improvement programs
Follow all plant safety policies, along with all SQF requirements
Help increase efficiency in the department
Test new sanitation methods and chemicals as instructed by QA Manager
Assist Sanitation lead in communicating directives
Oversee any maintenance requests and transfers back to production
Perform Pre-Operational sanitation requirements
Understand and fill out the Pre-Shift Checklist
Help with the production line full cleans.
Daily cleaning of break room/bathroom/GMP room/offices/conference room
Disassemble, clean and assemble production equipment
Run, fill, clean and perform minor maintenance on the walk-behind floor scrubber
Assess possible trainings and self-development needs and options
Controls work flow in washroom
