Skills and Competencies

Education


  • Students matriculating through college, studying towards a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics.

  • Graduation date of December 2025 - June 2027

  • Ability to work during program dates: June 2nd - August 8th 2025

Responsibilities


  • Support in the execution and improvement of Commercial Group processes

  • Support the measurement and reporting of process performance

  • Research, collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information.

  • Support data modeling and data visualization efforts.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports.

  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial Operations team.

  • Support the implementation of specific initiatives to improve operational and control effectiveness and efficiency, by analyzing data, identifying root causes, and providing recommendations for improvements

  • Support the creation, rollout, audit and maintenance of process and control documentation, dashboards and reports.

  • Prepare glossary of Process & SFDC terminology used in the Commercial Processes documentation

  • Liaise with other Commercial teams like Billing, Collections, Pricing and Ratings to achieve efficiencies in the Commercial processes.

About the Program

The Moody's Ratings Commercial internship program is a 10-week program that provides an outstanding opportunity to develop skills that are valuable to any future career in operations. This will be an internally facing role, reporting to a Commercial Operations Manager.

Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moodys business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35
