Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AR Specialist in Tampa, FL.

Duties:

• Volume: 1,000 invoices/week (split across the team) - There are 14 business units we support


• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures


• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data


• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits


• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted


• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues


• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients


• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-4 years of experience


• Experience with cash applications, account reconciliations, invoicing, customer service, matching Pos to quotes and reviewing invoicing details


• Must have good customer service skills


• Technical Skills: Intermediate Excel (candidate won't have to create PivotTables or VLOOKUPS, but will need to be able to work within them), will be utilizing outlook for distros


• B2B experience is ideal, they need to have someone with more of an analytical mindset who is able to problem solve


• Have a positive attitude, no gossiping with the team or having a negative outlook


• Would like to grow this person into a lead


• Plus - Drive to grow or longevity with a copy

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
