Senior Revenue Accountant at Kforce Inc in Framingham, Massachusetts

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant. We are looking for some interim help to cover a leave starting as soon as possible and go until June 2025 and is located in the MetroWest area.

Day-to-day duties, but are not limited to:

• Monthly preparation and analysis of revenue reserves


• Ownership and management of the RMA process, including accounting and reporting


• Monthly preparation and review of revenue-related balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness


• Execution and documentation of SOX controls related to revenue recognition


• Quarterly preparation of revenue disclosures for 10Q and 10K filings, collaborating with external auditors


• Analysis of revenue trends and identification of potential issues or discrepancies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent


• 5+ years of direct experience in revenue accounting


• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes


• Experience with public company SOX compliance


• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas, pivot tables


• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue recognition (ASC 606)


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly


• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is highly desired

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
