What will you do?
This position will report to the Production Control Manager. The incumbent for this position will create and update the BOM for each truck to make sure that it is accurate, which will include creating and maintaining a record file for each truck. The incumbent will assist Production Planners with planning and presenting the created truck BOM and related paperwork to each production line.
Essential Functions:
Enter orders in iSeries as needed. (Create and maintain files on each truck entered)
Complete order changes/AP's when requested from sales in a timely manner. To Include Field install/In plant AP's
Maintain PSO cards as changes are made. I.E. (PRQ forms, Change Orders, AP's)
Prints instructional Bills of Material to include printing CD's and ID's for shop personnel.
Flag Major Components on the PSO for service ease.
Accesses completed truck paperwork to ensure the PSO is up to date and correct.
Attend weekly booking meeting to ensure orders and all selected options are available (Prioritize orders) (Engineering Releases) (Start & Finish Dates)
Attend and command weekly PSO checks to ensure BOM accuracy according to the sales order.
Assign MSC and MSM numbers when needed/Advise sales of trucks MSC's and MSM's could be applied.
Create service orders as needed.
Perform support tasks to production BOM.
Maintains all items being returned from the field to ensure they are in like new condition before being returned to inventory.
Assist Sales/Engineering with any previous truck data as needed.
Produces all serial plates for TMW and Service except for Allied Products at service facilities with engravers. Send V -Carve files to service facilities with engravers when needed. Modify current files when needed for plate clarity and accuracy. Create new files when required.
Advise Configure One work group of order errors when found.
Implement MFSC schedule changes.
Assist Shop Personnel/Quality with any BOM concerns or questions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or Industrial Technology.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is preferred.
Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
At least four years of experience in production or knowledge of scheduling process required.

Working Hours
Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Over 45 hours per week when necessary to meet project goals.
