Job Description:

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Records Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for scanning, faxing, and emailing paper medical records into Allscripts or sending them to individuals requesting access to records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive medical

What will you be doing?



Scan paper medical records into Allscripts software accurately and efficiently.


Fax and email medical records to healthcare professionals or patients as requested.


Respond to requests for medical records in a timely and professional manner.


Ensure all records are maintained and transferred in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).


Organize and maintain physical and electronic medical record files.


Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support the medical records team.



What qualifications must I have?



High school diploma or equivalent required


Familiarity with Allscripts or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.


Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.


Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.


Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software.
