This group is responsible for content tooling and is building out several internal UI applications and backend services that enable other internal teams to query the catalogue, ingest metadata, and offer a simple way for all to access this data. Teams such as Merchandising, Content Operations, and Personalization all leverage this tool to verify content was delivered or understand how viewers are most likely to engage the content. This catalogue includes movies, episodes, music licensing, etc are all handled by this group on a global scale. Goal of these tools is to streamline accessing the content. For example, if you want to see all Brad Pitt movies prior to 2012, you can now search that specifically. Eventually they will evolve into an extension of the CMS and be able to create rail/customize applications, but for now it's more querying Additional Skills & Qualifications This role will have a lot of autonomy and needs a self starter who won't need much direction. Experience working independently and owning large parts of previous projects is going to be critical experience for success here. We need a very experienced developer who is able to articulate their thought process in great detail.
