Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial vehicles, ensuring the timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate commercial vehicles (Class A, B, or C) safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
Transport goods to and from designated locations, ensuring on-time deliveries.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any defects or needed repairs.
Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including driving logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspection reports.
Follow company procedures for route planning, delivery schedules, and fuel management.
Adhere to safety standards, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding deliveries, delays, or any issues on the road.
Stay informed of changes in traffic laws, road conditions, and regulations relevant to commercial driving.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL (Class A, B, or C) license.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
