Summary: Primary duties include managing and organizing the sales and marketing functions for a specific geographical domestic region. Tasks include creating and maintaining a sales and marketing plan, traveling for sales calls and presentations, demonstrating products, in-service training, presenting continuing education (CE) programs, maintaining a contact database, coordinating activities with the inside sales representative, negotiating, and other tasks requested by management. Frequent travel (50+%) and trade show attendance is required. The territory is made up of: SE Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university or 5+ years of experience in the radiation oncology medical device industry.
Experience: Three+ years of sales experience in medical devices, or 5+ years outside sales experience in other industries.
Experience in the medical field may be used as a substitute for sales experience requirements, as long as there is at least one year of sales experience, and the total experience between the medical field and sales is 5+ years.
Other Useful Skills and Abilities
Exceptional computer skills and interpersonal communication skills via phone. Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle interactions positively and credibly. A past positive and productive work history.
