The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for participating in the direct care of residents as well as supervising all non-professional personnel in the Nursing Department. They administer, stock, and dispose of medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures. The LPN ensures the CNAs are properly administering services and there is adequate CNA coverage on each shift.

Qualifications:
Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
Must have an active LPN license in the state of Virginia
Experience in long-term care preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
Ability to make independent decisions
Positions Available: 7p-7a FT and 7a-3p PT
