South Roanoke Nursing Home is currently recruiting for motivated Food & Nutrition Aides. The Food & Nutrition Aide assists in all Food & Nutrition functions including food preparation, the serving of meals and are involved in the clean-up of the kitchen and serving areas. The Food & Nutrition Aide understands the importance of following health and sanitary precautions needed for food service. They also understand the importance of quality customer service when interacting with residents.

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior food service experience
Prior healthcare experience
Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions
Knowledge of dietary services practices and procedures
Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary services in a long-term care facility
Ability to work every other weekend is required!
Position is Part time 8a-3p
