Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. UX/UI Designer to act as a Project Lead. This role involves hands-on design responsibilities and requires strong client-facing and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have experience coming from a consulting firm or digital agency. This project is set to commence in early January 2025.
As a Sr. UX/UI Designer, your role will involve creating and implementing project plans, providing guidance and direction for junior team members, and working closely with the client to present and review UX/UI deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interaction and information architecture deliverables for a variety of user interfaces including websites, mobile applications, and business tools
- Conduct user and stakeholder research activities to inform user-centered insights for business solutions
- Lead and participate in project planning, including end-user research, prototype testing, and usability testing
- Collaborate with clients and end-users to gather business requirements and translate them into effective, user-centered interactive experiences
- Develop and document detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 4+ years of experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or user experience professional
- Experience working in a consulting firm environment is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to produce meaningful and effective UX/UI for complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems
- Proficiency with modern technologies (Figma, Miro etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in a related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Library Sciences, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, etc.
