Our staffing agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a busy medical practice in Towson, MD. This temporary assignment offers a great opportunity to contribute to patient care while working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients with check-in/out processes.
Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories.
Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
Minimum of 3 year of recent experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, EPIC preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
Traditional doctor's office hours.
Duration: Temporary (Exact dates TBD).
Compensation
$18-$22/hour based on experience
Weekly pay via staffing firm.
