Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership:
Prepare and lead presentations for the South Gas Division, working closely with Artera and South Gas leadership teams to provide insights and recommendations.
Act as the primary liaison between operations and corporate finance to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with divisional goals.
Conduct detailed variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Lead weekly pacing updates to provide a clear view of performance against targets.
Reporting & Analytics:
Manage system reporting to ensure data integrity and usability for decision-making.
Develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics to monitor financial health and operational performance.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, reduce redundancies, and enhance operational efficiency.
Leverage technology to automate workflows and improve reporting capabilities.
Team Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and corporate finance, to drive business outcomes.
Mentor and develop junior team members to foster a high-performing finance function.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/MBA preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in finance or FP&A, ideally within a service, construction, or private equity-owned organization.
Strong analytical skills, with expertise in variance analysis and financial modeling.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Dynamic) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Requirements:
Based in Conyers, GA, with an on-site requirement of three days per week.
