Job Summary:
The Facilities Coordinator II at BPMI is responsible for coordinating various aspects of facility support functions of the facility. You will ensure that the physical work environment is well-maintained, safe, and functional in the support of company operations and objectives. This includes simple maintenance tasks, coordinating office moves, materials handling and vendor relationships. As the Facilities Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's facilities are conducive to productivity and meet the needs of employees and visitors.
Essential Duties:
Coordinates Remedy ticket process and distributes tasks to the appropriate party.
Assists management in the coordination of escorts needed for outside contractors.
Performs minor maintenance of company owned equipment to which the use of hand tools is required.
Performs material handling, utilizing various types of handling equipment to load/unload or assist in loading/unloading vehicles. Receive and deliver incoming materials and supplies (i.e., equipment, paper, etc.).
Coordinates shipments leaving BPMI such as office equipment, furniture, and other items as directed.
Minor maintenance, repair, upkeep of company owned office items as desired.
Daily delivery and pick up of mail to local Post Office, coordinate appropriate receipts as required.
Coordination of GSA cars, to include: distribution to requested parties, maintaining the maintenance logs of the vehicles, taking vehicles in for scheduled maintenance and ensuring the GSA program is in compliance with federal regulations.
Coordination of equipment (e.g., podiums, room set-up, overheads) for on-site meetings, as required.

Minimum Job Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Knowledgeable PC user in areas such as e-mail, word processing, basic database and work planning.
1 - 2 years prior facilities experience necessary.
Requires a security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Documented high school and/or trade school training in a construction trade (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC).
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, and apply practical knowledge to various construction and maintenance projects of considerable variation in type and scope.
Experience Preferred: At least three (3) years documented work experience in one or more maintenance and/or construction areas such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall or HVAC.
