May answer a large call volume and then assist the user and/or transfer the call to an appropriate party.
May perform a variety of clerical duties such as filing.
May perform input to certain computer and FIS systems.
May perform certain functions needed to distribute customer information for internet banking customers, ATM/Debit Card customers, loan customers etc.
May review new or updated deposit account information.
Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
Position normally requires a high school diploma or GED plus such practical knowledge and skills as would be learned on the job and through training.
Up to one year of experience is typically required to demonstrate proficiency in assigned tasks.
PC skills and keyboarding ability.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Proficient organizational skills.
Refers questionable matters to management.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Works in a call center atmosphere. Environment may be noisy.
Works under close supervision until proficiency in carrying out assigned responsibilities is demonstrated.
