The Senior Supply Chain Manager will work on policies, people and procedures. The role has end-to-end responsibility from orders to invoicing for the business working with Supply Planning, Sales and Warehousing partners on the critical prebuild timing and order fulfillment. Building out key metrics and being a supply chain solution provider for the business on meeting the demand on-time & in-full. Needs to have a "Can-Do Spirit" while managing costs. The
Job Duties :
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead the communication of critical product supply conditions, both internally and externally
Lead / attend weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings as needed to manage through improvement projects, issue resolution, and strategic initiatives
Work with sales and customer to ensure timely forecasting and ordering of innovation, promotions, and other significant merchandising opportunities
Use customer information to prepare forecast reviews, improve forecast accuracy and enable more effective product flow providing greater end to end visibility and supply flexibility
Responsible for strategic development of customer logistics plan, and the identification and driving of efficiencies. Distribution Requirements Planning a key component to delivering a plan to the business to execute.
Drive cross-functional improvements in supply chain efficiencies, operational costs, case fill rates, days of inventory, forecast accuracy and other customer scorecard metrics.
Develop and nurture business practices and processes for sustainable business results, credibility, and integrity for future joint business opportunities
Champions company initiatives with ability to translate strategic goals into specific actions and objectives for their team. Communicates all critical supply pipeline challenges to Senior Leadership and takes a proactive leadership role in generating timely options to deal with issues and mitigate risk
Creates and fosters and environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, accountability and innovation
Demonstrates organizational savvy with ability to build key alliances necessary to get things done
Represents the overall team and presents weekly KPI and metric updates to senior leadership

Minimum Qualifications :
4+ years of related supply chain, including Supply Planning. Demand Planning, Transportation, and Warehousing experience desired in a manufacturing environment. Food or pharma is highly preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, directing work and setting priorities
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.
Advanced financial acumen and ability to apply cost-benefit analysis in their decision making
Skilled presenter to senior management and executive level
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
Advanced Excel skills in terms of manipulating and managing large volumes of data
