Job Summary The Finance Database & Technical Developer executes on the strategy for all finance data objectives. A technical expert in managing and developing finance data that collaborates and aligns with information technology. Executes processes supporting technical systems analysis, solution design, coding, and testing to maximize efficiency, data governance practices and eliminates duplicative activities across Finance.

Job Responsibilities:
Manages and collaborates with Information Technology to design, implement and support the Finance data platform and data model.
Develops and implements automation that measures data quality, reconciliation, and validation rules that aligns and enhances our regulatory, audit, and compliance posture.
Coordinates and reviews technical requirements for data initiatives, projects and changes in processes/platforms/businesses that impact Finance.
Educates others on the Finance data framework and collaborates with all of Finance/Treasury/Accounting to reduce redundant data processes, provides one source of truth and elevates current data practice to a utility function - consistent, predictable, reliable, and scalable.
Contributes to the business intelligence architecture within Finance and creates a community of practice, learning and sharing in the Enterprise to unify business intelligence practices throughout the Enterprise.
Maintains all documents and procedures for development, processing, and change control in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Serves as a point of contact with users regarding updates, enhancements, conversions, and troubleshooting.
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: College, Vocational or Associates Degree (2 years or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.
Minimum experience required: 7+ Years of experience in database management systems, data models and programming languages.
5+ Years of experience in Banking and/or Financial Services.
Technical expertise in information systems, notably relational database management systems and cloud technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Experience preferred: Data Warehousing design and concepts/Data Governance
Job Competencies:
Subject matter expert in relational database systems, data models and query languages.
Experience in analytical, data warehouses, data integrations, and data architectures.
Experience in data programming and query languages.
Experience with reporting software and/or visualization tools and business intelligence practices.
Strong issue resolution/troubleshooting skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of structured programming languages and techniques.
Self-starter with positive initiative.
