As a Server on the Tex-Mex Team, you will set the stage and have a direct impact on each guest's experience. Your level of service will determine whether each guest feels welcome, appreciated and well taken care of. As a server, it is required you maintain an energetic, friendly, and giving attitude at all times. It is your responsibility to make each guest feel as our real boss, our #1 priority and thoroughly enjoys their dining experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Welcome and greet guests.
Make our guests feel comfortable and let them know that you're there to personally take care of them.
Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant services.
Take food and beverage order from guests, enter orders into point-of-sale system.
Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change.
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by management.
Monitor guests dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service.
Respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers.
Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Obtain strong working knowledge of menu by completing server training.
Attend all scheduled team member meetings.

Previous restaurant experience not required, but preferred.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members.
Ability to add and subtract two and three digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money.
Ability to operate computer point-of-sale system.
Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
Food Handler Certification required.
TABC Certification required.
