JOB TITLE:
Teaching Assistant for College Algebra or Trigonometry
JOB PURPOSE:
To help students in their learning in math classes

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach two hours of discussions per week - teach an assigned topic and oversee groups of students working on lab activities. Grade student work, hold office hours, assist in large lectures as needed.
COMPETENCIES:
* Completed Math 2200 Calculus I with a B or better.
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to speak comfortably in front of a group of students.
* Ability to follow detailed processes and verbal instruction
* Dependability and reliability essential
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be an active student at University of Wyoming
