Works as a member of the sanitation crew in its nightly operations.
Disassembles parts of the processing equipment, sanitizes them, and reassembles them.
Washes and sanitizes all processing equipment, meeting or exceeding USDA standards.
Washes floors, walls, and bathrooms of the plant.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and/or Experience
No formal education experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and Spanish (desired).
Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
The ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize tasks and projects.
Solid PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and proven Internet experience.
Sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.
HAACP, GMP, and BRC experience.
Basic maintenance and electrical skills.
