JOB TITLE:
Branding Iron Social Media Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
Manage social media content for the Branding Iron Digital team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In consultation with editor, produce content for the Branding Iron social media accounts.
Meet with editor as needed.
Maintain regular office hours of not less than 10 hours per week.
Delegates duties. Conduct regular meetings with digital editor to discuss story ideas, assignments and the general direction of the newspaper.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Current UW Student
Must be available to start work Aug. 21.
Must be able to attend mandatory trainings on Wednesday nights
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to shoot quality digital photographs and videos
Ability to edit photos and videos
Some prior supervisory experience
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
