PROVAIL has exciting opportunities for Job Developers to join our team! In this role, you will assist and support customers to secure gainful employment through job development. Collaborate with the team to support team members to build their Job Development skills.
This is a full time position that typically works Monday-Friday during normal business hours but may require some need for occasional nights/weekends based business needs.

They created some of the first community services for individuals with cerebral palsy and other severe disabilities in the area. What you'll do:
Collaborates between ECs and the business community to develop successful employment opportunities.
Conducts job specific vocational assessments with customers as appropriate to determine individual learning styles, skills, and job preferences, and develops an individualized plan of service.
Carries out job development activities, including but not limited to: networking, identification of potential placement opportunities, touring of companies, identification of business decision makers, building and maintaining business relationships, and securing positions for customers as guided by vocational profile and individual action plans.
Following placement, assists customers in the development and implementation of an individual plan of support. Provides coaching support for initial job start and collaborates with incoming Employment Consultants to ensure a smooth transition from Job Developer to Employment Consultant.
Maintains communication with customer, family, coworkers, home staff, funding agency(ies), and all other people significant to the customer.
Maintains timely records of services provided and billable time.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES:
Assists in the development of job marketing tools and presentations.
Collaborates on marketing efforts to large corporations and public sector employers.
Provides occasional coaching coverage as schedule permits.
Performs related duties as assigned.
What you'll bring:
BA/BS in business, social work, education or other related field, or commensurate experience.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with co-workers, customers and their families and/or home staff, employers, funding sources, and the community.
Minimum one year experience in job development, marketing and/or sales.
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially active listening skills.
Professional demeanor.
Must be able to pass a criminal history background check.
Must have a current and valid Washington driver's license and good driving record, own vehicle, and maintain insurance acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
