The Commercial Loan Officer is primarily responsible for making and servicing business and individual loans that involve significant amounts of both secured and unsecured loans, which could be complex in nature. Handles both large and small credits.

Lending position for $15Million+ portfolio
Construction, Commercial, Agriculture, and Commercial Real Estate Loans
Responsible for account administration, credit extension, and business development function
Accountable for performance management goals as agreed upon with Loan Manager and Bank President
Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree required (Business related field preferred)
Minimum of 5 years experience as an underwriting Commercial Loan Officer with an Agriculture lending background
Experience in negotiating loan workouts and asset liquidations
Must have ability to analyze complex financial data and write detailed credit memorandums
Must have current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including, but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
Must have ability to grow quality portfolio with annual performance goals
Promote Retail/Cash Management products to new and existing relationships
Willing to participate in community events
Outside business development calls required
Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
Excellent customer service skills

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday
Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds
