The Information Technology Technician manages and supports the hospitals IT network, software, and hardware infrastructure. The Information Technology Technician will be involved in all aspects of IT activities, including but not limited to user support, maintenance and optimization, deployments and upgrades, and participation in the development of IT strategy and service recommendations.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.20

Information Technology
Manage, configure, monitor, and support IT infrastructure services in a platform-agnostic environment that includes on-premises and off-premises resources and services.
Configure and support an enterprise computer network and hardware environment: physical and virtual servers, networked storage, desktop computers, laptops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and phones.
Manage, troubleshoot, and provide user support for software application services including Microsoft M365
Collaborate in developing and implementing all aspects of organizational IT strategy.
Determine and implement best practices in mitigating data privacy and IT security vulnerabilities, and for compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide general technical support and training for the organization.
Provide guidance and support in collaborations with external IT partners.
Create and maintain technical documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, audits, etc.
Monitor and propose enhancements for existing and future IT needs.
Maintain current knowledge of IT practices.

Required education and experience
Associates degree or higher in computer information systems or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
3 or more years of experience in the IT industry.
2 or more years of experience as a Information Technology Technician, or related position.
CompTIA A+.
Technical knowledge and experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LDAP.
Technical knowledge and experience with Data Backups and Restores.
Familiar with network switching and firewalls.
Preferred education and experience
Network +
knowledge and experience with VMWare.
Understanding and experience in Azure, M365 and other cloud technologies.
Technical knowledge and experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN).
Familiarity with Mitel or similar VOIP phone systems.
Experience with Veeam.
