Key Responsibilities
Efficiently manage a multi-state biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Oversee payroll deductions, garnishments, earnings, and accruals, conducting thorough audits and verifications.
Prepare and submit required tax documents, ensuring full compliance.
Generate reports to support the finance general ledger related to payroll and benefits.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies as needed.
Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, Section 125 plans, 401(k), life and disability plans, workers' compensation, and COBRA. Handle plan renewals, reporting, and communication.
Manage employee benefit plans, including new hire enrollments, benefit changes, and terminations in ADP or other benefit platforms.
Coordinate new employee onboarding and present benefits information to ensure understanding of plans and enrollment processes.
Assist the HR team with additional projects as needed.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
Proficiency with ADP or similar payroll systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with employees and management.
Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
