Job Description:

No Nights!No Weekends!
Hours are Monday - Friday7- 3:30 or 8-4:30

Purpose or General Objective:To sort, hang and tag donated merchandise.

Essential Duties:
Sort through donated goods while determining quality textile and bin to hang and seasonal merchandise to store.Continually hang and tag textile and maintain a level of processing performance of at least 90 pieces per hour with no more than 5% baleCorrectly label carts and Gaylords as SEASONAL or BALEAbility to work productively without close supervision.Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with all employees, participants, customers and consumers working with and for Goodwill Industries.Transfer Z-Racks, carts and Gaylords to the appropriate staging area within the plantWeigh product as directed by supervisorMaintain a safe and orderly work environment by following safety procedures and report injuries and safety hazardsMaintain good housekeeping skills including sweeping and cleaning work area at the end of shift

Other duties as assigned by the Charlotte Plant Supervisor, Transportation Supervisor, Operations Manager, Retail Director or Vice President of Retail and Donated Goods.
