Provides manufacturing support for new product introductions, product transfers, and the identification, selection, and execution of process improvement projects. Leverages problem solving tools and methodologies to foster continuous process improvement. Provides technical support as required for manufacturing operations. Primarily conducts engineering tasks in assigned department.
RESPONSIBILITES
Support the identification, selection, and execution of process improvement projects.
Support benchmarking studies of new manufacturing technology for existing processes.
Support manufacturing operations as required.
Conduct manufacturing capacity and constraint analysis.
Verify bill of material (BOM) and drawing accuracy for new and existing products.
Provide technical support as required for special feature authorizations (SFAs).
Support cost studies for new products and processes.
Advise product engineering on design for manufacturing opportunities.
Develop time standards and establish routings for special features and products.
Promote process standardization and process discipline.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 1 year of undergraduate study, with an Engineering major
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
