The Billing Supervisor for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading a team of 8 associates that administer the cost per test program, identifying and implementing strategies to improve the administration and compliance to cost per test contracts, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention, and meeting or exceeding revenue goals. This supervisor will partner with Field Service, Finance, Sales and Marketing to manage the cost per test program for North America Commercial Operations customers.



This position is part of the Client Services Department located in Brea, CA and will be onsite. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.



You will be a part of the customer service billing team and report to the Senior Manager of Clinical Laboratory Efficiency and Contract Compliance, responsible for leading efforts to reduce waste at clinical diagnostic laboratories and overseeing audit and billing activities that improve business results. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:



  • Supervise meter billing associates for effective completion of day-to-day activities and analyze data, generate reports, and make recommendations to improve billing efficiency

  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and maintain on-time billing rates; establish relationships with customers, contract administration and finance teams to ensure that all billings are accurately and efficiently completed

  • Review customer usage data from diagnostic laboratories to ensure that all necessary information is included for processing and address any customer issues, escalating for resolution as needed; Reconcile billings to ensure accurate invoices are generated for all supported systems


  • Drive Continuous Process Improvements and contribute to Project and Daily Management to ensures Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are maintained

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, serving as a role model for exceptional internal and external customer service through effective communication and collaboration; engage in first-line supervisory activities; Clearly articulate performance expectations, provide ongoing constructive feedback, and address performance issues and development opportunities for team members

  • Manage conflict resolution and handle sensitive personnel matters with discretion and professionalism

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, in all aspects of team management




The essential requirements of the job include:



  • High school diploma with 8+ years relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years relevant experience

  • 5+ years' experience in a customer service role / industry




It would be a plus if you also possess:




  • Previous team supervisory experience


  • Experience with medical device industry in sales, customer service, tech support or training


  • Experience collaborating with finance and accounting to perform billing and monthly reconciliations


The salary range for this role is

$100,000 - $115,000
.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of
possible compensation
for this role at the time of this posting.
This range may be
modified
in the future. 


This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
