About the Internship

A PREMIER Bankcard Marketing Internship will allow successful candidates exposure to all facets of credit card acquisition marketing while focusing on specific projects. There will be three placements for the Marketing Internship.

One position will work within and report to the Brand Strategy team within the Marketing Department. The primary focus of this internship will be supporting the creation of content to support acquisition efforts. This may include digital design and video production, social media content, gathering customer testimonials, and working with internal compliance teams.

The second position will directly support the Acquisition team. In this role you will be supporting acquisition efforts primarily for affiliate partner and direct response marketing, but also with technical operations involving our website and online applications. This includes campaign development and reporting, project management, delivery and operation support with some integration into paid search, email and display advertising programs.

The third position will support Marketing Intelligence efforts and will encompass research, competitive analysis, customer lifecycle optimization and reporting efforts. Other efforts may include product campaign development, assisting with third party vendors and project management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interest in omnichannel marketing acquisition, including digital, direct mail and affiliate marketing


• Interest in content development, with a focus on digital channels


• Interest in product and audience research and market planning


• Interest and ability around email marketing deployment strategies and best practices.


• Interest and ability to research and analyze information


• Compile and present findings to various business units and Senior Leadership


• Exposure/experience with testimonial, video and content production


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills and Qualifications

• Applicant should be enrolled in or pursuing higher education, with a preference for Marketing


• Possess strong PC, analytical and research skills


• Ability to be patient and attentive to detail


• Excellent verbal and listening skills


• Time management skills
