The Pricing Analyst is a key resource to provide pricing solutions to Weidmüller's customers through sales and account management channels. The pricing analyst is responsible for analyzing internal and competitor pricing in line with market expectations to determine ideal target price for products of the business.
Description:
Develops and maintains pricing tools and profitability models
Grows total gross margin dollars by identifying pricing actions that encourage higher sales values, conversion rates, margin rates, elasticity and customer satisfaction
Forecasts margins to help business understand impacts of promotional pricing campaigns
Identifies ideal pricing structures and sales funnels and drafts strategic plans to improve existing pricing reporting and business processes
Revises pricing decisions in necessary and proactively monitors product performance to determine if reevaluation is needed
Prepares and writes reports/pricing reviews for business leadership and supports business case for changes in pricing structure/strategy
Maintain relationships with stakeholders in all departments, including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering & Supply Chain to develop and enact competitive pricing strategy
Perform data mining, cleansing, and manipulation activities
Provide large project support that occasionally may require outside normal business hours interaction from global teams

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in financial/mathematics business applications study and use
2 to 4 years' experience in pricing or business analytics
Strong quantitative and analytical skills - the individual must be able to follow or develop detailed instructions to perform complicated financial analyses, determine basic analyses required to support trade and pricing decisions (i.e., structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results)
